Marathon Therapy Options

Extended counselling sessions is an alternative to traditional therapy sessions and is becoming increasingly popular.
Marathons are suited to couples who are experiencing significant relationship distress or are wanting to fast track improvements in their relationship.

By the end of the day, you will know how your relationship compares to the evidence based model, what are your strengths and challenges as a couple and importantly what we need to do to turn this around. Marathon Therapy Options​

This option is suited to couples who want to fast track improvements in their relationship, working through their specific issues, past regrettable incidents and improving communication and closeness. This is a two-day therapy experience. Sessions start at 8am or 9am and run to 3pm or 4pm. (12 Therapy Hours Total)

Marathons are available on Fridays and Saturdays.

This option is suited to couples who are experiencing significant relationship distress or are wanting to fast track improvements in their relationship. Sessions start at 8am or 9am and run to 3pm or 4pm. (Six Therapy Hours Total)

Mini-marathons are available on Fridays.

This option is suited to couples who may be experiencing significant relationship distress to stabilise their marriage and to begin to look forward towards a new, more satisfying and enriching relationship. This is a short term, intensive therapy process that is designed to assist couples in de-escalating conflict so they can begin to re-build their relationship. Counselling is over 3 x 3-hour sessions over 3 weeks. It includes completion of the first phase and part of phase two.
